Dartmouth Youth Commission Minutes
December 3, 2003
New Business from the floor:
- Kevin
reported that he received a call from Kiddie Kampus, a daycare provider in
Dartmouth, requesting holiday donations for needy families again this year.
. Kevin noted that last year, with short notice, he was
able to fulfill this request as a result of generous donations from Town
Hall employees.
- Kevin
informed Kiddie Kampus that from now on, the Youth Commission prefers to
offer support to needy persons in Dartmouth through the newly created Alvin
Glaser Memorial Family Assistance Fund. Kevin suggested Kiddie Kampus officials encourage
families needing support to apply to the Glaser fund.
- Kevin
informed Commissioners that he would be on vacation December 8th
through December 12th.
- The
Commission spent the next 1 ½ hours addressing, labeling, stamping and
stuffing envelops. These
envelopes contain a letter to be sent to select individuals requesting a
donation to the Alvin Glaser Memorial Family Assistance Fund.
- The
next meeting of the Dartmouth Youth Commission is scheduled for Wednesday,
February 11, 2004 in Room 314 of the Dartmouth Town Hall at 7:00 p.m.
- Ms.
Alves made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Ms. Swanson seconded the motion. Voted unanimously at 9:05 p.m.
