Welcome to the Single Parent's Center!

This section is designed to be a source of support to parents who are raising children without a partner in the household. You’ll find sources of local and Web based support and specific resources on some of the most common hassles that single parents face today.

Parenting is hard work. Single parenting is even harder. Single parenting as you’re ending a relationship or marriage has been described as "numbing, traumatic, frightening and exhausting." Locating and maintaining a source of safe, consistent and nearby support helps to makes the journey more manageable.

So let’s get started!
